Hello fellas, today I wanna share you about my "the unexpected short holiday". 2 days ago, I send some messages to izil, and I've just knew that she has been living in here for 2 months. Izil is my friend, we have known each other since senior high school, because we were in same senior high school and we continued our study in Jogja too. So, me and adun decided to invite her to join in our holiday and she said "blablabla" the point is OK. But, we got a problem because we didn't know the way to go there. we didn't have a motorcycle and if we rented it in weekend, you have to pay too much than weekday. So, izil suggested us to go there by public transportation because she has gone there previously. We thought that's brilliant idea to cost effective. So, we have made appointment in McD dago at 7 am. So, we started to get a public transportation that headed to dipatiukur (DU) and then we continued our trip to leuwipanjang terminal by Damri (bus), the bus was very clean, AC, the passenger wasn't too crowded so we could enjoy our trip and we only paid Rp 5.000.

condition in damri (bus), making your trip was getting more comfortable |
When we arrived in leuwipanjang terminal, we found a public transportation that headed to cibeureum terminal. It was very different than Damri, it was smaller, more crowded and there is no space to move freely. I had a disgusting moment when we were in public transportation headed to cibeureum terminal, I was itching on my back, I asked adun to scratch it because my hand couldn't reach it. Haha.
 |
there are 18 people in L300 (public transportation) that headed to cibeureum terminal, only one you needed was taking a deep breath |
In cibeureum terminal, we found a public transportation that headed to kawah putih, but we decided to take a walk in terminal first because we were hungry and we found kueh kamir (kamir cake), I thought it's a traditional cake from local people, it's very nice but it never made me full before eating rice. Haha.

traditional cake in west java |
But there was a problem, when we wanna go to kawah putih, we have to rent a public transportation but it's depend, it was getting cheaper if there were more people. So we were waiting for others who wanna go to kawah putih. First, we met mei, matin and alia then bang ujang then lia, mala, nurul and risma. Debate has happened between us and driver, I didn't say it's a negotiation because you have known if you were buying something with your mom, your mom would bid till the seller approved your bidding. we guys just laugh .Hahaha. Time was running out, 30 minutes later, he was agreeable our bidding.
when we arrived in kawah putih, you have to pay Rp 33.000 for ontang anting and admission. ontang anting was kinda public transportation that headed to kawah putih, It's about 45 minutes from entrance to kawah putih, there were huge people in there because of weekend.

let a photo explained about your feeling in there |
Alhamdulillah, it was fine weather and smell of sulfur wasn't too dangerous for our health so we didn't need a mask. we have to downstair previously and I just wanna say, Amazing place!!! it was like fascinating hidden place. green lake, white sand, deadwood, surrounded by steep slopes.
 |
we couldn't away from others, people were standing everywhere |
We never stopped taking some photos from different angle. Oke, I wanna tell a litlle bit about my new friends, we never expected that met at this time, we are from different city, different culture and different country. First, I wanna tell you about bang ujang. He came to kawah putih alone, because he was getting used to have the day off alone. I thought he was older than us, he's friendly guy. He has came to some place in indonesia and overseas, he was really a traveller. Matin was born in afghanistan and grew up in pakistan. He has been in Indonesia for 2 years. He was english course's lecturer in Jakarta. we've just realized that he was foreigner when he talked to us, he couldn't speak in bahasa fluently then he explained to us that he was afghan. So, we have to speak in english to him. He was a funny guy. Mei was matin and alia's friend. She have lived in medan, so she knew about my padangese accent. Alia was "someone special" for matin, I guess. Haha. I never asked them, maybe someday they will explain to me. Haha. Actually, I rarely talked to lia but I knew that she was the best driver's partner ever, because she helped him to wipe a windshield. Haha. Nurul, risma and mala, I rarely talked to them too, but they are good fellow.

maybe we can make a itinerary for the next holiday |
and then, at 1 pm, we moved to situ patenggang. In the middle of lake, there is an island, its name is asmara island and you would find batu cinta (stone of love) in there. Local people said if you're surrounding the island and visiting batu cinta (stone of love). It would be long lasting relationship and if you're single, you would find your couple soon. You can believe it or not, just a myth, why you're so serious. Haha.
 |
we could go to asmara island by boat but we couldn't because it was raining |
 |
we could find a grassland in situ patenggang. They asked me to take a photo from backside
|
Our last destination was tea garden. we didn't have to pay for admission, it's located in road side. you can enjoy it as long as you want. If we have a more time, maybe we have to sit here while drinking a cup of tea
 |
It's like a green carpet |
 |
keep smiling regardless of it was raining |
That was our holiday. we never imagined that we would meet in this moment. thanks for being friendly people. Hope someday we will meet again in another chance. see you then!!!
